18. Disposal
18.1
Equipment disposal
At the end of their operational life, service equip-
ment shall be disposed of as follows:
1. Return the equipment to an authorized dis-
posal facility in accordance with the laws of
the country in which it is used
18.2
Disposal of recovered
oils
Dispose of used oil as required by law.
Store used transmission oil in an airtight contain-
er. Do not mix used oil with other substances
such as antifreeze fluids. Keep out of reach of
children and away from heat sources.
Dispose of used ATF fluids at a disposal facili-
ty. Schedule a periodic disposal plan based on
volumes handled. To dispose of high volumes of
waste oil on a regular basis, contact a licensed
disposal agent to transport waste oil directly
from your site to the nearest disposal site. Lu-
bricants extracted from automatic vehicle trans-
mission systems must be delivered to waste oil
collection centers.
18.3
Packaging disposal
Electrical and electronic equipment must never
be disposed of with household waste, but must
undergo a special recycling process. The pack-
aging must be disposed of in accordance with
the regulations in force. In this way you will con-
tribute to protecting the environment.
