6. Description of the equipment
6.1
Field of application
The ATX 280 is an automatic station suitable for
lubricating oil replacement (ATF Automatic Trans-
mission Fluid) in automatic transmission systems
that equip many commercial vehicle models for
some years now.
The unit monitors and measures the flow rate of
received fluid (spent ATF) and the flow rate of in-
jected oil (new ATF).
All operations are simple, intuitive and guided.
The ATX station is equipped with all the nec-
essary functions to maintain automatic vehicle
transmissions.
The main functions available are:

Dipstick mode (Ø 6 mm and Ø 10 mm)

Emptying of spent ATF tank

Emptying of new ATF tank

ATX 280Can only operate with ATF
fluids and/or automatic transmis-
sion additives. Before working on
the automatic transmission, check
the type of fluid used in the vehi-
cle's transmission circuit, and
make sure the oil level in the trans-
mission is correct; if necessary,
bring it up to level.
