Personnel safety warnings
The ATX 280 MAHLE oil change station is par-
ticularly simple and reliable thanks to its settings
and functions. If used correctly, it does not pose
any risk to the operator, provided that the he
complies with the following general safety in-
structions, and that the service station is regular-
ly maintained (incorrect maintenance and use will
impair the safety of the service station).
Before the first use, please read these operating
instructions carefully. If any individual points in
these operating instructions are unclear, please
contact your nearest dealer or MAHLE.
Work environment:
ATF fluids and hydrocarbon-based automatic
transmission additives and protectants.
ATF fluids, cleaners, and automatic transmis-
sion protectants are not defined as flammable.
However, such fluids, although not defined as
flammable, should be kept away from open
flames and heat sources.
Use the equipment away from heat sources
or hot surfaces. The equipment must not be
used in potentially explosive atmospheres. Be-
fore use, place the equipment in a flat and stable
position and secure it with the appropriate wheel
locks.
Do not expose the equipment to direct sunlight,
heat sources, rain or water jets. Do not smoke
near the equipment or during operations (keep
at least 1 meter away).
The work environment is expected to be manned
by the operator during use.
