Operation
Driving with Transmatic drive
■
Start the engine as indicated.
■
Release the parking brake: Depress the clutch
pedal/brake pedal all the way and hold.
■
Move the direction-of-travel lever to the corre-
sponding position.
■
Adjust the speed level with the lever.
■
Slowly release the clutch pedal/brake pedal, the
device moves.
Driving with automatic drive
■
Start the engine as indicated.
■
Release the parking brake.
■
Slowly actuate the accelerator pedal until the
desired speed is reached.
Driving with Autodrive drive
■
Start the engine as indicated.
■
Move the direction-of-travel lever to the corre-
sponding position.
■
Release the parking brake.
■
Slowly actuate the accelerator pedal until the
desired speed is reached.
Stopping the device
■
Move the travel lever to 'N' or release the acceler-
ator pedal (device with hydrostatic drive/automatic
drive and Autodrive drive).
■
Press the brake pedal or clutch/brake pedal until
the device is stationary.
Mowing
■
In normal mode
ignition lock): Switch the cutter deck off and raise
before reversing.
■
In reverse mowing mode
ation, ignition lock): Exercise extreme caution
when reverse mowing and do not activate unless
absolutely necessary.
■
Do not change the direction of travel if the device
is rolling or moving.
Devices with hydrostatic drive
■
Start the engine as indicated.
■
Move the throttle to
output.
■
Release the parking brake.
■
Switch the cutter deck on.
■
Lower the cutter deck.
■
Use the travel lever or accelerator pedal (de-
pending on model) to select forward drive and
speed (actuate slowly).

■
Lower the cutter deck.
■
Select forward drive and speed with the acceler-
ator pedal (depress slowly).

■
Start the engine as indicated.
■
Move the throttle to

■
Move the direction-of-travel lever to "F"/ forwards.

Release the parking brake.

Switch the cutter deck on
■
Lower the cutter deck.
■
Slowly actuate the accelerator pedal until the
desired speed is reached.
General
When adjusting the cutting height and travelling
speed, ensure that the device is not overloaded.
Depending on the length, type, and dampness of the
cuttings, it may be necessary to adjust the cutting
height and travelling speed in order to be able to
collect cuttings with a grass catcher without any
trouble.
In the event of a blockage, reduce the travelling
speed and set the cutting height higher.
Parking the device

Stop the device.
Switch the cutter deck off.
