Injection chamber, clamping ring, O-ring
WARNING – Risk of burns
The hot surfaces at the injection chamber
can cause severe hand burns.

Put on protective gloves before removing
the injection chamber.
During testing, the DHK/UI, CRI/CRIN or CRI Piezo
squirts the test oil into the injection chamber. The test
oil flows back out of the injection chamber via the hose
1 680 712 362 to the DHK/UI flushing connection/test
connection or to the injected fuel quantity test connec-
tion (CRI/CRIN), see Fig. 4.

Replacing injection chamber O-rings

The O-rings are to be checked for damage at regular
intervals. Never use any squashed or frayed O-rings.
Depending on the diameter of the nozzle (7 mm /
9 mm) of the CRI/CRIN, CRI Piezo or DHK/UI, it may
be necessary to fit an O-ring insert with O-rings and
knurled nut in the correct position in the injection
chamber.
