Procedure for replacing intake filter:
1. Unscrew the two bolts of the tank cover (Fig. 44,
item 1) and lift off the tank cover (Fig. 44, item 2).
2. Unscrew the nut (Fig. 44, item 3) of the intake filter
(Fig. 44, item 4).
3. Detach the intake filter from the intake pipe (Fig. 44,
item 5).

4. Slip the new intake filter over the intake pipe.
5. Screw the nut back on.
6. Fit the tank cover again and screw on with the bolts.
7. Re-connect the hoses and connecting cable for the
ring lamp at the jet chamber unit.
8. Screw on the ground cable at the jet chamber unit.
9. Re-insert the jet chamber unit in the EPS 205 and
secure with the bolts.
10. Re-insert the side panels and screw on.
11. Pour in test oil (see Sec. 8.2.6, as of step 14).

This completes replacement of the intake filter in the
test oil tank.

Replacing flowmeter pipe filter
!
Before replacing the pipe filter, the EPS 205 must be
switched off and disconnected from the three-phase
AC network.
!
Contamination of the pipe filter may bias the mea-
sured values when testing.
!
The pipe filter contains oil-based substances and
substances which are a hazard to water. It must
be disposed of in accordance with the applicable
regulations.
Procedure:
1. Switch off the EPS 205.
2. Disconnect the EPS 205 from the three-phase AC
network.
3. Unscrew the right housing cover bolts (8x).
4. Detach the housing cover.
5. Use pliers to slide the hose clamps at the pipe filter
over the hose connections onto the hoses (Fig. 45).
6. Detach the hoses from the pipe filter.
7. Slide the hoses onto the new pipe filter, paying at-
tention to the direction of flow of the pipe filter.
8. Use pliers to slide the hose clamps over the hose
connections of the pipe filter.
9. Re-insert the right side panel and screw on.
