OIL PUMP
3. Check:
• Oil pump operation
Rough movement → Replace the defec-
tive part(s).
Check valve inspection
1. Check:
• Check valve body 1
• Spring 2
• Check valve 3
• Check valve seat 4
Damage/wear → Replace the defective
part(s).
Oil strainer inspection
1. Check:
• Oil strainer 1
Damage → Replace.
Contaminants → Clean with engine oil.
Oil pump assembly
1. Install:
• Check valve
• Pin
• Gasket
• Oil pump housing cover 1
NOTE:
Align the pin 1 with the hole a on the check
valve.
