GRINDER ADJUSTMENT
• Unscrew the collecting container and turn the mill upside down.
• Turn the adjustment bar clockwise up to the finest possible setting;
hold the crank firmly in the process. Then turn the adjustment bar one
full rotation (12 clicks) anti-clockwise. This usually corresponds to the
correct fineness for espresso.
• Turning the adjustment bar further anti-clockwise opens the grinder;
the grind becomes increasingly coarse. ATTENTION! After around
6 complete rotations the adjustment bar loosens from the spindle and
the grinding cone as well as spring fall out.
• Turning the adjustment bar clockwise provides a finer grind until the
finest possible grind is reached just before the grinder is blocked.
The settings in the following table can serve as guideline values. The
actual result depends on various factors, such as the roasting (light or
dark), freshness, moisture and type of beans, oil content, etc.
