If the coffee is too bitter or the coffee or espresso machine has problems
with the water passage, the grinding degree is too fine. If the coffee or
espresso is watery, the grinding degree is too coarse and/or the amount
of coffee is insufficient. This is subject to the condition that the specific
operating requirements for the type of preparation were observed and
followed.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
• Wipe the housing and the crank with a soft cloth only, slightly damp, if
necessary. The wooden knob can be detached for cleaning, wipe it with
a soft cloth only.
• Clean the collecting container with warm water and a mild detergent.
Afterwards dry it off thoroughly. Stubborn coffee oil residues can be
removed with a little washing-up liquid, vinegar cleaner or a commercially
available coffee oil remover.
• Do not submerge the coffee mill in water or other liquids. Do not clean
it in the dishwasher.
• Do not use any sharp or pointed objects, gasoline, solvent, scrubbing
brushes, or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning.
CLEANING OF THE GRINDER
When using a coffee grinder, depending on the oil content of the coffee
bean and the regularity of use, coffee oils and fats can deposit as a fine
film and affect the taste and flavor. They can easily be removed with raw
rice grains. We recommend cleaning the grinder regularly if necessary
and after a long period of non-use.
