Removing the Weighing Pan
and Associated Components
Requirements
— The device is switched off.
— The device is disconnected from the power supply.

Remove the weighing

port.
Slightly loosen the

three screws (1).
Carefully turn the
t
frame draft shield
counterclockwise until
the screws are in the
large recess.
Remove the frame
t
draft shield.

Cleaning the Device
NOTICE
Corrosion or damage to the device due to unsuitable
cleaning agents!
Do not use corrosive, chloride-containing, or
t
aggressive cleaning agents.
Do not use cleaning agents that contain abrasive
t
ingredients, e.g. scouring agents, steel wool.
Do not use solvent-based cleaning agents.

Only use suitable cleaning agents (materials see
t
Chapter "15.6 Materials", page 38) and observe
the product information for the cleaning agent used.
Procedure
NOTICE Malfunction or damage to the device due
t
to the ingress of moisture or dust!
Only slightly moisten cleaning materials, such as
t
cloths.
Remove dust and powdery sample residue with a
t
brush or hand-held vacuum cleaner.
Wipe the device and the associated components
t
with a slightly damp cloth. Use a mild soapy solution
or a suitable cleaning agent for more severe contami-
nations.
