6.3 Putting the batteries inside the vehicle
The batteries must be housed in the battery compartment and must be handled using special hoisting equipment suitable both for
the weight and for the hooking system.
WARNING
- Strictly comply with the instructions given by the battery manufacturer or retailer regarding battery
maintenance and daily recharging. All installation and maintenance procedures must be carried out by specialists. All the
recharging operations must be carried in well-aired places, far from heat sources. Do not smoke, do not bring free
flames near, do not use emery wheels and welding, do not cause sparks near batteries. Do not withdrawal current from
batteries with pliers, sockets and provisional contacts. Make sure all connections (cable lugs, sockets, plugs, etc.) are
always tight and in good conditions.
WARNING
- When you manipolate batteries always wear safety cloth according to the currently laws. In
particular, before manipulating batteries, take off all metallic objects such as rings, necklace and watches from

3. Taking care to not damage cables, close the right side panel.
6.4 Connecting the battery connector
The electrical connection battery / machine is located close to the lateral kit for tools (the battery connector is mobile and it has a
handle, while the vehicle connector is fixed the frame).
During operation, the battery connector must remain connected to the vehicle; during the re-charge, the battery connector must be
attached to the charger.
WARNING
- Check the perfect connectors' coupling.
6.5 Recharge of batteries
In order not to cause the risk of permanent damage to the batteries, one should at all costs avoid their complete discharge and
effect recharging within a few minutes after that the signal lamp of discharged batteries begins to blink.
WARNING
– To avoid permanent damage to the batteries, it is essential to avoid their complete discharge, and to
recharge them within a few minutes after the warning of low batteries. Recharge IMMEDIATELY after discharge: DO NOT
LEAVE THE BATTERIES, EVEN PARTIALLY, DISCHARGED.
For the maintenance and daily recharging of the batteries it is necessary to follow the instructions provided by the
manufacturer or its dealer. All installation and maintenance operations must be carried out by specialized personnel.
The battery recharging operations are to be carried out in well-ventilated places and far from heat sources. Do not

Never leave the batteries completely discharged, even if the machine is not used.
Do not let one battery discharge separately from the other.
In the case of using ACID or PURE LEAD TRACTION batteries, every 10 recharges check the electrolyte level and if
necessary top up with distilled water. Top up only at the end of the charge.
Make sure that the batteries installed are suitable for the type of charger used. Therefore, use ONLY ACID or PURE LEAD
TRACTION batteries or GEL or AGM batteries.
Never charge GEL or AGM batteries with an unsuitable charger.
