WARNING
– When the vehicle has a long stop disconnect the batteries. These operations must be carried out
wearing gloves to protect hands and make sure there are no objects or people in the vicinity.
13 MAINTENANCE
WARNING
– These operations must be performed with the vehicle completely switched off, the ignition key
has to be in position "OFF" and in full compliance with safety regulations. Wear protective gloves and make sure
there are no objects or people in the vicinity.
It is also general rule that, at maintenance performed, before restarting the vehicle, all components are functions are
verfied perfectly.
Scheduled maintenance, it is accompanied by the inspection maintenance during use, observing the state of efficiency
of particularly delicate parts. For safety reasons, the inspection will be paid to those components visible and accessible,
without manual intervention.
It is strictly forbidden to carry out any type of maintenance action while the vehicle is switched on.
Ordinary maintenance operations
The type of periodical maintenance for this machine is represented by the one scheduled. It includes operations on the
components such as lubrication, cleaning, adjustment, replacement, etc. to be performed with predefined deadlines.
Extraordinary maintenance operations
Extraordinary maintenance operations are all those operations not covered in this manual. Extraordinary maintenance operations
can be performed only by the manufacturer or those delegated by him.
14 DEMOLITION OF THE MACHINE AND DISPOSAL OF HARMFUL SUBSTANCES
For storage and disposal of materials and pollutants always respect current regulations. When the laws
does not regulate treatment, storage and disposal, hazardous or harmful to the environment products
must be disposed in accordance with the rules of common sense.
Here are some general brief recommendations that may be of assistance.
 Do not disperse lubricants, coolants, fuels, acids, hydraulic fluids or any other pollutant.
 These substances are usually dangerous and harmful. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. When dealing with pollutants or
hazardous substances protect your eyes and hands and wear proper clothes.
 Do not refuel the tanks with jerry cans or pressurized refueling facilities that could cause leakage or spillage of pollutants in the
environment.
 Do not burn lubricants and hydraulic oils in heatings or outdoors. Manage storage and disposal always respecting the current
regulations.
 Never mix different fluids. Provide separate storage and disposal always respecting the current regulations.
 Repair immediately any fluid loss or defective engine, hydraulic system or cooling system. A defective system can become
dangerous for both man and the environment.
 Wastes produced by ordinary or extraordinary maintenance operations must be managed in accordance with current
regulations.
 To decommissioning and dismantling of the equipment and any of its components, follow the instructions provided in this
manual.
