AHT Cooling Systems GmbH
► During repairs, a knowledgeable person who knows the local conditions must be available, as the
contact person, for the authorized AHT experts.
• Behavior rules for VENTO GREEN devices (> 150g refrigerant R-290) with a critical alarm of priority 1+
(red warning light illuminated, indication of leaks in the refrigerant circuit):
The automatic system control initiates important measures immediately. Nevertheless, the
following behavioral rules must be observed within a distance of 0.5 m to the refrigerator
boundary edges until the volatilization of the exiting refrigerant has been detected (reliable gas
concentration measurement):
► Disconnect the device immediately (see
► Secure the device against restarting.
► Lock the passage in front of the defective device.
► Keep away from ignition sources (heat, sparks, open flames, hot surfaces).
► Do not bring any hot surfaces (above 370°C/698°F) into proximity.
► Do not operate any devices, electrical switches or bells that are not explosion-proof.
► Ensure good ventilation.
► Contact the maintenance service (see → Chapter 10.4).
• Dispose of devices with flammable refrigerant and devices with insulating foam (thermal insulation
polyurethane foam with pentane) appropriately. Inquire with the responsible authorities about the safety
and statutory disposal regulations applicable to you.
The product was designed to take into account the environmental and disposal friendliness of AHT devices.
The refrigerant R-290 and the propellant pentane (for the insulating foam) do not have any ozone depletion
potential and do not contribute directly to the greenhouse effect.
1.6.3 Mechanical hazards
Transport the device with floor trucks. Risk of injury to persons during collisions.
•
► Observe the transport routes for floor trucks.
► Secure the cargo.
► Floor trucks must only be operated by trained persons.
Danger of tilting of the device. Persons can be pinched (see → Chapter 7).
•
► Remove the transport pallet only when the stable, final installation position has been reached.
► Use an anti-tilt device.
► The device must only be installed and dismantled with an anti-tilt device.
► Anti-tip mounting service (see → Fig. 7.1) must only be removed again when the danger of tilting
is no longer present. Fuse protection, e.g. by wall or opposite device for island installation.
(Anti-tilt mounting service is supplied as an accessory by the AHT installation service.)
► Additional device-specific anti-tilt device (see → Fig. 7.2) must no longer be removed
after installation.
► Observe the separate mounting instructions.
► If you have questions, contact the maintenance service (see → Chapter 10.4).
Disposal of packaging material and films. Danger of suffocation.
•
► Keep packaging material and foils away from children.
► Do not let children play with them.
Missing and/or not fully functional safety devices. Danger of injury due to e.g. rotating parts.
•
► Check the safety devices for completeness and functionality.
► Guards and covers on the device must not be removed.
Entering the device areas. Cutting injuries in the case of material breakage. Danger of falling.
•
Impact hazard due to the risk of falling goods.
► Do not climb onto or into the device.
Falling objects. Impact injury. Cutting injury in the case of glass breakage.
•
► Do not place objects on the device.
► Do not place heavy bottle packs in the upper displays/display shelves.
Improper assembly of the shelves/display shelves. Danger of injury due to falling of
•
shelves/display shelves loaded with goods.
► Displays/display shelves must fully engage in the slots provided during suspension.
Leakage of defrosted water. Leakage of fluids from damaged packaging. Drainage of
•
condensed water from glass doors. Slipping hazard.
→ Chapter 9.2).
