Safety instructions
Please read these operating and maintenance instructions carefully and also give them to other people assigned the task of
handling and using this cabinet.
After delivery, immediately check the cabinet for transport damage.
The cabinet may only be operated in the usage position (flat and horizontal with the opening facing upwards). (Please observe
the installation instructions.)
The cabinet is used to store pre-chilled or frozen goods. No other forms of use are intended. Deep freezers may only be
operated when fitted with covers.
The cabinet starts to run straight away once powered up. Note the performance details on the type plate as well as the relevant
local electrical safety regulations before connecting the cabinet to the power supply.
Condensed water is produced whenever effective chilling takes place and/or any dampness in the air is frozen on to the chilled
surfaces. The operator must therefore defrost the chest at regular intervals.
Do not heat the cabinet to more than 70°C (158°F). Do not position the cabinet in direct sunlight and do not use heaters or sharp
objects when defrosting. Do not spray high-pressure cleaners or jets of steam into the machine compartment.
Sharp objects may scratch the glass cover and cause destruction (single-pane thickness safety glass).
Work on the electric system and the refrigeration system may only be undertaken by specialists. Always disconnect from the
mains before unscrewing the machine compartment cover.
WARNING: Cabinets with an interior light have 2 mains connection cables. Both mains plugs must be disconnected before
working on the electrical system and the refrigeration system.
When disposing of the cabinet, please check your obligations according to the national WEEE regulations and take the cabinet to
the local WEEE disposal service. Please ensure that the pipes are not damaged (do not drill into the cabinet).
The operating staff must be instructed by the market manager.
People (including children) who are not able to use this unit safely because of their physical, sensory or mental faculties, inexpe-
rience or lack of knowledge should only do so under the supervision or instructions of an accountable person. Children in particular
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit.
No canisters with ammable gas propellants may be stored in the appliance.
No objects such as bottles are to be placed on top of the chiller cabinet.
The appliance is to be checked regularly for foreign bodies in the storage compartment.
