When using a FOB as a secondary credential for any Command Sequence, the Keypad will respond with
feedback to confirm a Successful Identification or Failed Identification. When the FOB button is pressed, the

3.18.2 FOB Low Battery and Critical Indicator
The FOB uses a standard CR2032 battery for power. The Low Battery voltage range for the 700
series FOB is between 2.1 and 2.3 volts. The Low Battery warning can be observed in the feedback
behavior. When the battery voltage drops below 2.1, the Critical Low Battery warning will be
observed in the feedback behavior and No attempt will be made to connect to the Entry.

4 System Security
The LA GARD safe lock System implements various methods to enhance security. Security measures include
encryption of information when transmitted, encryption when the data is at rest, and encryption between
devices authenticating each other.
4.1 Data Encryption
Encryption is used between entities that exchange information.
The encryption used will prevent an attacker from knowledge of the information exchanged between the
communicating partners and prevent replay attacks.
