The amount of engine oil in the reduction gear is 0.3-0.5 liters. The amount of engine oil in the crankcase is 0.6 (1.1) liters.
NOTE: Do not throw oil containers or used motor oil into garbage cans or spill on the ground. For environmental reasons, it is recommended that you
store used engine oil in a closed container and take it to your local recycling center.
AIR FILTER MAINTENANCE
A dirty filter can block the flow of air to the carburetor. To keep the carburetor in good working order, periodically service the air filter. If the engine is run in
a very dusty environment, maintenance should be performed more often.
CAUTION: Never clean the air filter core with gasoline or low flash point detergents as an explosion may occur.
NOTICE: Never start the engine without the air filter in place as dirty air may enter the engine and accelerate its wear.
Unscrew the wing nut, remove the air filter housing. Check whether the two cores are not damaged. Replace if necessary.
a) Foam filter: clean it with household detergents and warm water (non-flammable substances or solvents with high flash point) and dry, then immerse in
clean engine oil until saturated. Squeeze out any excess oil. Otherwise, the engine will produce smoke when starting.
b) Paper filter: hit the core against a stable object/surface to get rid of accumulated dust or blow the dust from the inside with a high-pressure air stream
(no more than 30 Psi). Never brush with a brush as such movement can push the dust into the core fiber. If the core is very dirty, replace it with a new one.
