Sicherheitshinweise im
Umgang mit Betriebsstoffen
Als Betriebsstoffe sind in den Fahr-
zeugen K15-4 eingesetzt:
-
Getriebeöl
-
Hydrauliköl
-
Batteriesäure
Für den Umgang mit diesen Stoffen gelten
umfassende Sicherheitsvorschriften. Die
wichtigsten Punkte sind:
für Getriebeöl und Hydrauliköl
• Hautkontakt vermeiden, vor allem unter
Druck austretendes Öl (Schlauchbruch,
Leckagen) nicht an die Haut gelangen
lassen.
• Ölnebel nicht einatmen.
• Öle sind wassergefährdende Stoffe,
deshalb Öle immer in vorschriftsmäßi-
gen Behältern transportieren und auffan-
gen.
• Öle nicht verschütten. Verschüttestes Öl
mit geeigneten Stoffen binden.
• Ölhaltige Abfälle vorschriftsmäßig ent-
sorgen.
• Öle vorschriftsmäßig entsorgen.
• Läßt sich der Kontakt zu Ölen nicht ver-
meiden, ist persönliche Schutzausstat-
tung wie Schutzhandschuhe, Schutzbril-
le usw. zu tragen.
für Batteriesäure
• Batteriesäure ist giftig, deshalb Dämpfe
nicht einatmen.
• Batteriesäure ist ätzend, deshalb Haut-
kontakt unbedingt vermeiden.
• Verschüttete oder verspritzte Batterie-
säure sofort mit viel klarem Wasser
abspülen.
• Beim Hantieren mit Batteriesäure ist
persönliche Schutzausrüstung wie
Schutzhandschuhe und -kleidung sowie
ein Gesichtsschutz zu tragen. Kommt es
trotzdem zum Kontakt mit Säure, ist
sofort mit viel klarem Wasser zu spülen
und ein Arzt aufzusuchen.
• Beim Laden von Batterien kann explosi-
ves Gasgemisch entstehen, das auch
noch längere Zeit nach Ende des Lade-
vorgangs vorhanden sein kann. Deshalb
Ladebereiche gut lüften.
Im Umkreis von 2m um die geladenen
Batterien ist rauchen, Feuer und offenes
Licht verboten.
• Zusätzliche Betriebsanleitungen des
Batterieherstellers und des Ladegeräte-
herstellers beachten.

Safety remarks relating to work
with operating media
The following operating media are
used in the K15-4 truck:
- Gear oil
- Hydraulic oil
- Battery acid
The handling of these materials is gover-
ned by comprehensive safety regulations.
The most important points include:
For gear and hydraulic oil
• Avoid all skin contact. Pay particular
attention to prevent contact with oil
emerging under pressure (hose breaka-
ge, leaks).
• Do not breathe in oil mist.
• Oils pose a threat to the water supply,
and must accordingly always be trans-
ported and collected in regulation contai-
ners.
• Do not spill oil. Bind any spillages using
suitable materials.
• Take care to dispose of oil-containing
wastes correctly.
• Dispose of used oil correctly.
• If it is not possible to avoid contact with
oils, personal protective gear such as
protective gloves, protective goggles
etc. must be worn.
For battery acid
• Battery acid is poisonous. Always avoid
breathing in vapours.
• Battery acid is caustic. Take all neces-
sary precautions to prevent inhalation.
• Rinse off battery acid immediately using
plenty of clear water.
• When handling battery acid, wear perso-
nal protective gear such as gloves and
clothing as well as facial protection.
Should skin contact still take place, rinse
immediately using plenty of clear water
and consult a doctor.
• When charging batteries, an explosive
gas mixture can be generated which can
still remain present for a long period
after completion of the charging pro-
cess. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Within a 2 metre area of charged batte-
ries, smoking, fires and open flames are
strictly prohibited.
• Comply with the additional operating
instructions supplied by the battery and
the battery charger manufacturer.
