Front derailleur lug

If your are using a single crankset (no front
derailleur) you can remove the front derailleur
lug from the 796 MONOBLADE to improve its
weight and aerodynamics.
To do this unscrew the 4 M3x12 BHC screws
using a no. 2 Allen key (in very good conditions
to avoid damaging the screw recess).
A sticker (delivered in the spare parts bag)
allows the inserts to be hidden and reduces the
aerodynamic disturbances in this location.
To refit the lug position it, then gently tighten the
4 screws to 1Nm torque. Add a drop of medium
threadlock to each of them.
Attention, the presence of 4 screws is essential for the operation of the gear changer.
You have a spare rear lug in the bag, if this is found to be twisted or broken after a fall.
When mounting the rear lug tighten the screw to 1Nm torque. When removing/refitting put a
drop of medium thread lock on each screw
The 796 MONOBLADE is equipped with removable cable outer stops allowing compatibility with
both mechanical and electric group sets. Refer to your LOOK retailer for the list of compatible
groupsets.
