The MONOBLADE is world unique. Its fineness is unequalled and allows optimum aerodynamics.
This fineness is not detrimental to the longitudinal and lateral stiffness, notably due to its non-
circular shape!
It has a steering stop allowing the steering angle to be limited and damped, to avoid any risk of
damage to the frame, the bars, the brake cable outers or even the Di2 wires during excessive
steering.
It has clearance at the left dropout allowing the quick release to be gripped.
It integrates the AEROBRAKE 2 brake (cf. § AEROBRAKE2 FRONT BRAKE)
It conforms to standard EN 14781.
If the headset is removed/refitted please follow the advice in the paragraph LOOK AEROSET
INTEGRATED HEADSET.
Note : - As fitting the fork with its headset necessitates specific tools it is strongly advised
to approach an approved LOOK retailer to perform correct, complete, removal or refitting.
The fork must be placed on a wheel for all maintenance operations and we restate that any
abnormal wear of the fork ends due to abrasion on the ground cannot be covered by the
LOOK guarantee.
- Forks are delivered fitted to frames with a pivot length specific to each frame size. You only
need to recut the fork pivot of your 796 MONOBLADE to reach your settings. The assembly
has been designed so that the handlebar adjustments are sufficient.
LOOK AEROSET INTEGRATED HEADSET
The Look AEROSET headset is an automatic play take-up system. It allows the prestress
needed for correct operation of the bearings to be applied without risk of damage. However
several options, applying several prestresses, are possible. It is composed entirely of stainless
steel parts.
