cutting tool in a vice whilst orienting the slot in the vertical position.
7 - Cut the tube by inserting a saw into the saw slot. Use a special carbon saw, if not, a worn
metal saw blade.
8 - Remove the cutting tool, deburr the end of the tube with fine glasspaper. Check that the end
of the tube is clean and varnish free.

Important : the recutting limit marked on the rear of the seat tube must be complied with for
correct operation of the assembly.
The AEROPOST is fitted with a short layback head facing forwards as original equipment. If you
need you can turn this part towards the rear or use the long layback version. To modify your
saddle layback :
1- Remove your saddle from the seatpost head (Cf. § Removing the saddle).
2- Withdraw the 2 fixing screws
3- Position the desired head in the direction wanted.
4- Put the 2 washers
5- Refit your saddle to the seatpost head.
