Mechanical Calibration Check
This window is used to check the mechanical calibration of the measuring sensors (or the value
read from several transducers without the influence of possible electronic corrections).
In this window, as in all the windows in the calibration environment, data are only communicated
between the central unit and heads by means of the emergency cables.
The window shows the calibrator with the sensors fitted, each in its own position.
The data for the current check are displayed alongside each sensor.
The values outside the tolerance thresholds are displayed in red, whereas the positive values
are displayed in green.
The following keys are active in this window:
- F1
displays the on-line "Help" function
- F2
returns to the previous window
- F5
moves on to the next step in the mechanical calibration check (for step-by-step checking
of the zero and full scale calibration).
- F6
(only displayed after F5 is pressed), moves back one step in the mechanical calibration check.
- F7
provide the printout containing the data of the check performed
- F10 returns to the starting window.
Warning !
If some values are outside the permitted tolerance ranges, mechanical adjustments must be
made on the sensors. In this case, call the Technical Assistance.
This window allows the user to check that the sensors are working correctly when they are fitted
to the wheels of a vehicle.
The system allows checking of the angle read by the inclinometers, the angle and reception
level of the CCDs.
Press the F5 key to display the release of the software installed on the sensors.
The release appears in the top box of each window dedicated to each sensor.
The following keys are active in this window:
- F1
displays the on-line "Help" function
- F2
returns to the previous window
- F5
switches from the current window to the window with the software information and vice-versa.
- F10 returns to the starting menu window.
Window for use by the technical support service only.
Users are urged not to access this window. Improper use of the procedures in this program
section may cause aligner malfunctions.
This option is visible only if previously enabled in the wheel aligner general setup.
To access the "Job Count" window, enter the password (the password is not indicated in this
manual for security reasons). If interested in this option, please request the password from the
support service.
The window (fig. 50) is divided into two sections: the left section displays the overall count of the
job performed, the right section shows the job count per day. A calendar is also displayed,
where the desired visualisation date can be selected.
