• Unpack the equipment, placing the packing in the position indicated above.
• Remove all the accessories from the pallet and from inside the machine, and set them down
nearby.
• Place the aligner in the desired position (see paragraph "Installation Clearances").
• Proceed to unpack the accessories.
• Remove the upper rear panel (A, fig. 14) of the aligner in order to access its interior.
Installing the electrical connector panel
Install the electrical connector panel in the upper part of the cabinet through the special
stirrup (A, fig. 3). Connect electrical connector panel, through the appropriate extension, to
one of the HDD power cables leading out of the back of the PC and to the Hard Lock device
with a USB cable (G, F, fig. 11).
Installing the Hard Lock device:
Insert the tip of a pen into the hole at the side to open the SIM holder (fig. 47).
Remove the wheel aligner SIM card (fig. 46) from its punched backing card (keep the backing
card with the serial number for future queries) and insert in the SIM holder (fig. 47), with the
gold contacts facing upward.
Push the SIM holder in.
Fix the Hard Lock device (B, fig. 18) onto the back of the cabinet with the relative fastener screws.
Connect the 2 USB cables to the Hard Lock device: connect one to an unused USB port on
the PC; connect the other to the USB port on the electrical connector panel (E, F, fig. 11), by
passing them through the hole on the cabinet (B, fig.3).
• Unpack the keyboard, place it on the shelf provided in the moulded casing (fig. 4) and insert
the data cable through the hole provided in the shelf.
• Place the mouse on the right-hand shelf of the console, beside the monitor (fig. 4) and insert
the data cable through the hole in the rear of the cabinet.
• Remove the computer from its packing (keep the packing materials for future transport) and
place it in the compartment provided inside the cabinet ( fig. 4bis).
Remove the monitor from its packaging and fasten it to its support using the 4 screws (1, fig .5)
that are contained in the screw bag.
It is recommended to perform this operation with 2 people
Connect the network cable (2, fig. 5) and the video cable (3, fig. 5) to the monitor.
• Pass the monitor cables through the cable slot on the rear side of the cabinet (fig. 3) to access
the computer compartment.
• Connect the monitor to one of the Shuko sockets available (fig. 3).
• Connect the monitor signal cable to the PC, as shown in fig. 11.
• Tie the power supply leads and monitor signal cables together outside using two straps.
• Connect the power supply, keyboard, mouse and printer (optional).
• Screw the four pins (1, fig. 6) to the sides of the cabinet where the measuring sensors will be
positioned during the recharging phase.
• Unpack the 4 measuring sensors and insert them into the supports on the sides of the
cabinet (1, fig. 6bis).
• Each support has a terminal board (2, fig. 6bis) with contacts for recharging the measuring
sensor.
N.B.: Each measuring sensor has a red arrow on it that must be turned towards the cabinet
when the machine is used.
