The LEDs in the curing chamber emit visible light (violet and blue) at high power density. Never look
into bright LEDs. Always keep the door completely closed and do not open it before the program has
completed.
A glare hazard is present. If the automatic LED switch-off does not function when the door is opened,

operating the unit is not permitted. Do not look into the stray light emitted from gaps in the housing
and cooling slots for a prolonged period of time (> 15 min).

DISCONNECT FROM MAINS
Only Kulzer Service is authorised to work on the unit's electronic components when performing such work
is safe (unit is de-energized).
Only approved genuine replacement parts and accessories may be used. Using other parts carries unknown
risks and must be avoided in all cases.
The proper functioning and safety of the unit is only guaranteed if the necessary inspections, maintenance
and repairs are performed by Kulzer Service Partners or by personnel we have trained.
Kulzer GmbH assumes no liability whatsoever for any damage caused to the unit resulting from improper
repair, which has not been performed by Kulzer Service Partners or by personnel we have trained, or if
genuine parts or accessories were not used when replaced.
FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS AND VAPORS
Items that contain residues or adhering material from flammable solvents or cleaning fluids or are not completely
dry may not be introduced into or cured with the unit.

Intended use
The cara Print LEDcure light polymerization unit is used for the final polymerization of the 3D-printed objects
manufactured from photosensitive fluids / resins used exclusively for dental applications.
The cara Print LEDcure light polymerization unit is manufactured in accordance with the latest state-of-the-art
techniques and is safe to operate. However, this unit may present hazards if it is operated by insufficiently
trained personnel or if it is not used properly or in line with its intended use.
The unit must be operated by qualified or trained members of personnel (e.g. dental laboratory technicians
or dental laboratory assistants) who:
•
have acquired their knowledge through specialist training or instruction,
•
are able to carry out the activities he/she does commensurate with his/her qualifications,
•
are able to recognise possible hazards when working with the unit.
