8.1 Program interface and program selection

After the power is turned on, the welcome text appears on the screen. The screen will display for approx.
3 seconds. During this time the operator can press the 'SETUP' (left), 'INFO' (middle) or 'Test' (right) but-
tons. If no button is pressed, the program selection appears on the display.
SETUP
When the 'Setup' button is pressed, the left 'down' arrow button can be used to scroll between the selecta-
ble functions in the loop. The selected function is indicated by the arrow on the left side of the display. Use
the right 'EDIT' button (pencil) to change the setting.
NOTE
To simplify the presentation in this manual, the images of the displays are shown in ENGLISH only. On the
actual unit, the display text will be shown in the language selected.
Line 1: Language selection for display text settings: DE; GB; FR; IT; ES; PT; SE; NL; JP
Line 2: Temperature unit; settings: °C / °F.
Line 3: Choice of whether each press of a button should be acknowledged with a signal tone; settings: on / off
Line 4: Abbreviated program parameter indicators above each customer program; settings: on / off
Line 5: Reset i.e. delete all customer programs. The programs are reset to zero.
