3. When the impression tray is sufficiently filled, interrupt the mixing
process by pressing the Start/Stop button [5] or removing your foot
from the foot switch.
The mixing process immediately stops and pressure on the cartridge
is automatically relieved to prevent further flow of the material. If
Timer 2 has been set, it will now start its countdown. Three succes-
sive audio signals indicate when the material can be removed from
the mouth.
The device automatically stops dispensing after 02:00 minutes but
can be restarted by pressing the Start/Stop button [5].
Filling elastomer syringes [Fig. 09-10]
Mixing speed 1 is recommended for the filling of elastomer syringes. By
pressing the Plus button [8] or the Minus button [9], the mixing speed
can be increased or decreased across three levels. This is also possible
during the dispensing process.
1. Remove the piston from a standard elastomer syringe.
2. Insert the rear opening of the elastomer syringe onto the mixing tip.
3. Start the mixing process by pressing the Start/Stop button [5] or by
using the foot switch.
If Timer 1 has been set, it will now start its countdown. The end of the
working time period is indicated by a long audio signal.
4. When the syringe is sufficiently filled, interrupt the mixing process
by pressing the Start/Stop button [5] or removing your foot from the
foot switch.
The mixing process immediately stops and pressure on the cartridge
is automatically relieved to prevent further flow of the material.
If Timer 2 has been set, it will now start its countdown. Three succes-
sive audio signals indicate when the material can be removed from
the mouth.
Changing the cartridge [Fig. 11-12]
1. The cartridge can only be removed if the pistons are in the cartridge
exchange position. If necessary, press the Reverse button [6] and wait
until the pistons return to their original position.
The reverse indicator [J] flashes as long as the pistons are in the
process of retracting. As soon as the cartridge exchange position is
reached, the reverse indicator is no longer displayed.
2. Using one hand, push the cartridge through the cartridge holder
openings from below and remove the cartridge from above.
After use, leave the used mixing tip on the cartridge as a seal.
3. Insert the new cartridge into the device from above (see »Preparing
the cartridge«).
In order to be able to use all the remaining material in a cartridge, have
another prepared cartridge ready to go before starting the mixing
process. This ensures that the remaining material does not have to be
discarded due to the working time being exceeded during cartridge
replacement.
Changing the mixing tip [Fig. 03]
Attach a new mixing tip before each mixing process.
1. Slide the locking mechanism upwards.
2. Remove the old mixing tip. If the cartridge has been stored for a long-
er period of time, it is important to remove any material blocking the
cartridge opening.
3. Then firmly align the mixing tip openings with the corresponding car-
tridge openings.
4. Lock the mixing tip in place with the locking mechanism.
5. Attach a new mixing tip before each mixing process. The device can-
not operate if material has cured inside the mixing tip.
If the mixing tip is not securely attached to the cartridge, there is a risk
that the material may leak out past the tip and cause contamination.

Setting the timers
The device is equipped with two timers and 99 program memory loca-
tions. The timers are used to set the individual working time [B] and in-
traoral setting time [C] of the material used. The maximum time that can
be set is 09:00 minutes 59 seconds. An audio signal indicates when the
set time expires (0:00) and the timer resets to the last set value.
The last time set is retained even if the device is switched off. Your set-
tings must be assigned to a fixed program memory location [D] and be
called up again by reselecting the corresponding program when needed.
The device can be operated using both, one or none of the timers.
The device is delivered with preset programs, adapted to DMG material
specifications.
1. Press the Menu button [10] briefly. Select the program display, which
then flashes.
2. Select the program memory location where the timer settings are to
be stored.
To do this, press the Plus button [8] or the Minus button [9] to
move up and down the programs available. By keeping either button
pressed, the programs scroll in steps of 10. By briefly pressing one of
the two buttons, the programs scroll one at a time.
3. The selected program is confirmed by pressing the Menu button [10]
again briefly. Select Timer 1, which then flashes.
When the timer is selected, it counts to the next minute in one-sec-
ond intervals when the Plus button [8] or Minus button [9] is pressed.
By keeping either button pressed, counting continues in one minute
intervals. After pressing one of the buttons again, the seconds can be
set.
Briefly press the Menu button [10] to select Timer 2, and set as pre-
viously described.
Please refer to the manufacturer's instructions for use for the ma-
terial selected to find the relevant working time and intraoral setting
time. When setting Timer 2, please ensure that the transfer time you
require (from end of mixing to insertion in mouth) is added to the
specified intraoral setting time.
4. Pressing the Menu button [10] closes the menu and the settings are
saved under the set program number. A short audio signal confirms
the saving process.
If the Start/Stop button [5] is pressed before saving the settings, the
menu will close. Settings that have not been saved will be lost.
