These presets can be changed. When setting Timer 2, please ensure that
the transfer time you require (from end of mixing to insertion in mouth)
is added to the specified intraoral setting time.
If the device is reset to factory settings the preset programs are also reset
to their original settings.
Selecting programs
1. Press the Menu button [10] briefly. Select the program display, which
then flashes.
2. Press the Plus button [8] or the Minus button [9] to move up and
down the programs available until you reach the desired memory lo-
cation. By keeping either button pressed, the programs scroll in steps
of 10. By briefly pressing one of the two buttons, the programs scroll
one at a time.
3. Pressing and holding the Menu button [10] closes the menu and se-
lects the corresponding program.
Operating without timers
If the timers are not being used, these can be hidden in the display for a
better overview.
To do so, press the Minus button [9] to set the program display to P--
(see »Selecting programs«) and save the setting by pressing the Menu
button [10].
After pressing the Start/Stop button, both timers are hidden from view.
This setting will remain active even after the device has been restarted.
Pressing the Menu button takes you back to the setting mode and the
timer symbols are displayed again.
Restart
For a device restart, turn off the device at the main switch for at least 5
seconds.
Reset to factory settings
Press and hold down the Plus button [8] and Minus button [9] while
switching on the device until the self-test is completed.
Previously stored programs will be deleted. The original preset programs
(see »Preset programs«) are loaded. The mixing speed is set to level 2.
Maintenance and care
The device does not require maintenance with normal use. However, if a
malfunction does occur please contact Customer Services.
With the exception of the plunger discs and fuses, the device does not
contain parts that can be replaced by the user. Replacement fuses and
plunger discs are supplied with the appliance.

Disinfection and cleaning
For your own safety, please unplug the device before disinfection and
cleaning.
Please clean the device using only a soft cloth, and, if needed, a mild
detergent. Never use solvent-based or abrasive cleaning agents as these
can damage the plastic components. Do not allow any cleaning liquids to
get into the device.
Use a simple wiping disinfection method to keep the device and power
cable clean. Disinfectants containing alcohol, such as Pursept-A Xpress
(Fa. Merz) or FD 322 (Fa. Dürr) can be used for disinfection. Pursept-A
and FD 322 are not available in all countries.
Cleaning/changing the pistons
If the plunger discs are dirty or damaged, they can be cleaned or replaced
as follows:
1. Ensure the pistons are in their original position and remove the car-
tridge.
2. Press and hold the Menu button [10]. An audio signal sounds. All
symbols except for the cartridge and advance indicators disappear
from the display.
An audio signal sounds and the Start/Stop button [5] can be operated.
The Menu button [10] must be pressed down the entire time.
3. Advance the pistons until the plunger discs can be easily reached.
4. Cleaning: Use a soft cloth to clean the plunger discs.
Replace: Unscrew the retaining screws of the plunger discs with the
hex wrench provided. Remove the plunger discs from the shafts and
replace them.
5. Press and hold the Menu button [10] again and press the Reverse
button [6]. The pistons return to their initial position.
Plunger discs and hex wrench are included in the »Service Kit« acces-
sory item.
Replacing the fuses
1. Unplug the power cable.
2. Using a screwdriver, remove the fuse drawer [2] above the power con-
nection on the back of the device and replace the fuses.

Troubleshooting
In the event of a possible malfunction, the device shows various error
codes on the display. E01 indicates possible misuse of the device. In this
case, follow the outlined advice. If the malfunction cannot be remedied
this way or if another error code is displayed, please contact our free ser-

Device does not start
• Check whether the power cable is securely connected to the device
and plugged into the socket.
• Check fuses and replace them if necessary. Pay attention to the cor-
responding specifications on the rating plate.
Device starts but no impression material is delivered
• Check whether a new mixing tip is in place.
• Foil bags: Cartridge has not been filled, foil bags are not sufficiently
open.
