Operation

Turning on/off
The voltage supply is provided by the lighting
mains. The ACS 500 is approved exclusively
for 230 V, 50/60 Hz. Observe the appropriate
specifications on the rating plate on the rear
of the ACS 500.
The central master switch on the rear of the
unit (Fig. 2; 3) is used to turn the ACS 500
on or off.

Input keys
The alphanumeric input keys can be used to
enter figures, letters and special characters in
input fields. In an input field, pressing a key
several times in succession displays all the
characters it can be used for (figures, upper
and lower case letters, special characters).
The C key deletes all characters entered.
Pressing E or V stores the entry.

Canceling during operation
Pressing the
key for longer than three se-
conds cancels all functions that are running
on the ACS 500 and returns you to the main
menu.
