Maintenance

If the messages "Vacuum pump oil change"
or "Filter change" appear on the display, the
oil for the vacuum pump and the filter and
drier cartridge need to be replaced. The
maintenance counter must then be reset
(see section 7.3 "Resetting the maintenance
counter").
We recommend that the maintenance of the
ACS is carried out by a competent service
company.
Do not carry out any work that is not spe-
cifically mentioned in this section.

Vacuum pump oil change

Ester lubricating oil, type AV68, density to
ISO 68.

Disconnect ACS 500 from lighting mains.
Detach power plug.
2.
Unscrew the screws on the front cover (x4)
and remove the cover.
Warning - risk of burns!
The hot surface of the vacuum pump can
result in severe burns to the hands.

Allow the vacuum pump to cool before
commencing maintenance work.
3. Place a container below the opening in the
base of the trolley. Open the drain plug
(item 3) on the vacuum pump and allow
the oil to completely drain.
4. Replace the drain plug and open the screw
plug (item 1).
5. Add new oil until it is halfway up the sight
glass (item 2) (approx. 400 g).
6. Replace screw plug with sealing ring.
7. Reset maintenance counter (section 7.3).
