Rear Wheel Removal
1. Raise the rear wheel off the ground by placing a
support block under the engine.
2. Unscrew the rear brake adjusting nut (1).
3. Press and release the rear brake pedal and
disconnect the brake rod (2) from the brake arm (3).

4. Loosen the adjusting nut (6) on the chain adjuster
on both sides.
5. Remove the rear axle nut (4) and loosen the lock
nuts (5) and the drive chain adjusting nuts (6).
6. Remove the rear axle shaft (7), drive chain
adjusters (8) and side collar, then remove the drive
chain (9) from the driven sprocket by pushing the
rear wheel forward.
7. Remove the rear wheel from the motorcycle.
