Ignition Key Number
Be sure to record your key number (1) at the following
space. You will need this number if you ever have to
get a key replaced.

Colour Label
The colour label (1) is attached to the right side of the
steering head.
It is helpful when ordering replacement parts. Record
the colour and code here for your reference.

Air Cleaner
(Refer to the Safety Precautions on page 47.)
The air cleaner should be serviced at regular intervals
(page 48). Service more frequently when riding in
unusually wet or dusty areas.
1. Remove the seat (page 35).
2. Remove the air cleaner housing cover (1) by
removing four screws A (2).
3. Remove the air cleaner element case (3) by removing
four screws B (4), washers (5) and collars (6).
4. Take out the air cleaner element (7) and clean the
element by tapping it lightly to loosen dust. Blow
away the remaining dust by applying compressed air
from the side of the air cleaner element.
5. Install the air cleaner element.
6. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of
removal.
