Wheel Removal
(Refer to the Safety Precautions on page 47.)
Front Wheel Removal
(NXR150 Bros ESD)
1. Raise the front wheel off the ground by placing a
support block under the engine.
2. Remove the caliper assembly (1) from the fork leg
by removing the fixing bolts (2).
3. Disconnect the speedometer cable (3) from the
speedometer gearbox by removing the cable set
screw (4).
4. Remove the front axle nut (5) and front axle shaft
(6). The front wheel can now be removed.

Installation Notes
• Reverse the removal procedure.
• Insert the front axle shaft from the right side through
the wheel hub and left fork leg.
• Position the lug on the speedometer gearbox against
on the right fork leg.
• Tighten the front axle nut to the specified torque.
Front axle nut torque:
44 N·m (4.5 kgf·m, 33 lbf·ft)
• After installing the wheel, apply the brake several
times, and check for free wheel rotation when
released.
If a torque wrench was not used for installation, see
your Honda dealer as soon as possible to verify proper
assembly. Improper assembly may lead to loss of
braking capacity.
