Front Wheel Removal
(NXR150 KS/ES)
1. Raise the front wheel off the ground by placing a
support block under the engine.
2. Remove the speedometer cable (1) by releasing the
screw (2).
3. Disconnect the front brake cable (3) from the brake
arm (4).
4. Remove the front axle nut (5) and front axle shaft
(6). The front wheel can now be removed.

Installation Notes
• Reverse the removal procedure.
• Insert the axle from the right side through the wheel
hub and left fork leg.
• Make sure that the tang (7) on the left fork leg is
located in the brake panel.
• Tighten the front axle nut to specified torque.
Front axle nut torque:
44 N·m (4.5 kgf·m, 33 lbf·ft)
• Adjust the brake (pages 20 and 21).
• After installing the wheel, apply the brake several
times, and check for free wheel rotation when
released.

If a torque wrench was not used for installation, see
your Honda dealer as soon as possible to verify proper
assembly. Improper assembly may lead to loss of
braking capacity.
