performs the start/stop for hold cycle depending on its programming.

If "dynamic" mode is programmed All QuickRead(s) enter on dynamic measure select mode.
If "hold" mode is programmed All QuickRead(s) enter on hold cycle mode.

Formatting of numerical string
In the QuickRead functioning both in the metric and imperial system, the measuring string is
formatted on 8 bytes and ends with .
The first character representing the measuring sign can be : + , , - .
The second character is a digit ranging from 0 to 9 .
The characters from 3 to 8 can be represented by a digit from 0 to 9 or by a decimal point . .
Example : Metric system, measure in millimetres ( -000.123 )
