The pushbutton box features four Cannon 9-pin RS232 connectors as follows:
- Male connector for connection of up to four Quick Read
- Male connector for connection of the box to a PC
- Female connector for connection of the power supply cable
- Female connector for connection of the footswitch
3.11.3 Performing remote zeroing with the pushbutton box
1. Connect the Quick Read to the box F (code 6139013100) through the serial cable E (code
6739696157) if only one unit is used, through the serial cable D (code 6739696396) if
more units (max. 4) are used
2. Connect the power supply cable G (code 6739696301) from Quick Read to the box (from
the connector 2 or 3 of the last unit powered)
3. Switch the Quick Reads on
4. Enter the programming mode
5. Program SYST. ID of each Quick Read as a unique number
6. Program for each Quick Read COM.MODE = ascii or QRbin. (all of the units must have
the same programming)
7. Push the Zeroing button of the box

ZEROED is displayed first on each unit, then the measuring value 0.000
"hold" measuring mode

5. Program for each Quick Read M. TYPE = hold
6. Program SYST. ID of each Quick Read as a unique number
7. Program for each Quick Read COM.MODE = ascii or QRbin. (all of the units must have the
same programming)
8. Push the hold button of the box

the displayed measuring value is "frozen"
9. to return to measuring mode push the hold button again
