Insert power-supply cable in the connector 2 or 3 and then connect the power-supply unit to the
mains.
To feed additional Quick Reads use the jumper cable C ( L=15 cm code 6739696138; L=30 cm
code 6739696128; L=60 cm code 6739696129), that can be inserted in the connector 2 o 3 of
each Quick Read.

A malfunction of one or more units may occur if more than 5 Quick Read are
connected in series.
At switch-on the Quick Read runs a self test to check its functions. If any error message is
displayed, it enters the measuring mode.
The programming mode can be entered by pressing for two seconds the PROG key. The unit
can be zeroed by pressing first the SETUP and then the ZERO key (see paragraph 3.7 "Zeroing"
on page 51).
