ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
a. Ensure that the (4) Sealing Ring and the (5) Sealing Cap are securely attached to the (1) Vaporflex
b. Insert the bipolar probe (sterile disposable product) from a distal direction into the (1) handle until the markings of the
probe are visible at the proximal end of the handle. The (6) Locking Button must be kept pressed.
c. Release the (6) Locking Button and slowly draw the probe in a distal direction until it locks in place. Then check that it
is securely fitted. Please mind the position of the probe as it can be locked in two directions (upwards or downwards).
d. Guide the (2) shaft from a distal direction across the probe and firmly screw it to the (1) handle.
e. Ensure that the RF/HF generator provides an ellman/elliquence
bipolar instrument.
f. Connect the (3) HF-cable to the (1) handle, the markings (blue dots) on the handle and cable must align.
g. Connect the (3) HF-cable of the device to the RF/HF generator and only then switch on the RF/HF generator.
Before performing the procedure, the Vaporflex
gauze, for instance, to ensure that it is functioning. Upon activating the probe for a short duration, air bubbles
should appear in the liquid on the tip of the probe.
