PRIOR TO USE

Handle is delivered non-sterile and must be cleaned and sterilized before its first surgical use. Carefully

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Assemble joimax
2. Select the required program on the HF/RF generator.
3. Adjust the power setting.
It is recommended to start the RF/HF generator with low energy settings. If required, the energy can be gradually
increased. Progress of work must be regularly monitored.
4. Perform a function test as described.
5. Insert the joimax
6. Once the probe tip contacts the tissue to be treated, press the foot switch to activate the connected RF/HF generator.
PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
PRETREATMENT
Soaking must be carried out immediately after use (within a maximum of 2 hours). Use water or an aldehyde-free disinfect-
ant for this purpose (to avoid fixation of blood contamination) with proven effectiveness (FDA cleared), which are suitable
for disinfecting instruments and which are compatible with the instruments.
A synthetic fleece or plastic cleaning brush can be used if necessary for the preliminary removal of residue.
Do not pre-clean RF/HF cables and hand pieces in the ultrasonic bath.
A disinfectant used for soaking is only intended for protecting personnel and cannot replace the later disinfecting
step after cleaning has been carried out.
