Visual inspection of the tube set
Before the operation, perform a visual inspection of the tube set and its packag-

WARNING!
Air in the insufflation tube set
Air in the insufflation tube set can cause an embolism.
• Start the insufflation before the tube set is connected to the patient to push
the air out of the insufflation tube set. Stop the insufflation when at least 1 li-

Gas Heating
It is possible to insufflate gas with a body temperature (approximately 37 °C /

Sets).
CAUTION!
Do not subject the heater tube to direct heat (e.g., heating blanket) or high room
temperatures.

1. Connect the filter and the heating tube or a heating tube with integrated fil-
ter.
2. Connect the plug of the heating tube with the gas heating connection.
As soon as the heating cable is connected, the display (6) depicts for 3 seconds
the message Gas heating OK.
The reusable heating tube is preheated automatically to 33 °C when insufflation
