III. Shutter release and release
lock
Your CHINON CP-5 program
camera features a two stage
electromagnetic shutter release with
safety
lock.
When the shutter
release button is depressed
halfway,
the electronic circuitry starts
functioning
.
When the button is fully
depressed,
it will trigger the shutter.
Always hold the camera steady and
gently depress the shutter release
button to make an
exposure.
The
position marked
"
L"
on the exposure
mode select dial is the shutter
release safety lock
position.
When
this is aligned with the index
mark,
the batteries are disconnected from
the circuitry and an exposure cannot
be made (Fig. 25). This position is
also used when the camera is not to
be used for a long time
.
III. Declenchement et verrouillage
du declencheur
L'appareil CHINON CP-5
programme se distingue par un
declencheur electromagnetique a
deux positions et un verrouillage de
surete.
Lorsqu'on appuye sur Ie
declencheur jusqu'a
mi-course,
Ie
circuit electronique se met en
marche.
Lorsque Ie bouton est
appuye a fond
,
il declenche
I'obturateur.
Tenir toujours I'appare il
tres stable et appuyer doucement
sur Ie declencheur pour prendre une
photo.
La position marquee d'un
" L"
sur la bague de selection
d'exposition correspond a la position
de verrouillage du
declencheur.
Lorsqu'il est aligne de la sorte sur
I'index, les piles sont mises hors
circuit et Ie declenchement ne peut
pas avoir lieu (Fig. 25)
.
Se servir de
cette position lorsque I'appareil ne
sera pas utilise pendant un certain
temps.
