selecting the correct exposure
(M mode)
1.
In the Shutter-priority AE
:
set the
required shutter speed
.
Rotate the lens aperture ring until
the selected shutter speed and
the metered speed are matched
up on the scale in the viewfinder

2.
In the Aperture-priority AE
:
Set
the required aperture on the lens.
Change shutter speed until both
LED's are coincident (Fig. 46)
