In the Application Menu, press
[Heater/Battery/Environment]. Press
measured by different sensors.
The value measured by the temperature sensor sometimes is displayed
higher than that of the ambient temperature due to self-heating of the
splicer.

5.12 Change the spare lithium battery pack

Change the spare battery according to the following
procedures.
5.12.1 Open the cover of the battery case
Lean the Fusion Splicer; open the cover of the battery case
which is at the bottom of the Fusion Splicer. See the following picture:
5.12.2 Remove the old battery
Remove the lithium battery pack in the battery case of the
Fusion Splicer; pluck off the connector between the
battery pack and the interior of the power module; change
the lithium battery pack. See the following pictures:
