2. Actuate retractor shape.
a. Make sure the last segment has emerged through the
port before actuating the retractor. Figure 5
In restricted space
In restricted space the tip of the retractor can be allowed to
come into contact, and be deformed by structures such as
the abdomen or diaphragm.
Insert through the port keeping the retractor tip in the
laparoscopic field of vision. Push the retractor tip up to and
around the abdominal wall. Prior to actuating the retractor,
ensure that the last segment has emerged through the port.

REMOVAL
1. Straighten or relax retractor shape
a. Rotate the actuating knob fully counter-clockwise before
withdrawing the retractor. Figure 7
2. Retract through port
a. Slowly withdraw through port. IF there is resistance to
this motion, rotate the instrument during withdrawl.

must be cleaned and sterilized per these instructions for use
prior to shipment.
