4.3 Connecting the Accessories
Connect the pedal to the back of the
appliance in the socket marked with the
symbol by inserting the pedal cord
plug until you hear a 'click'.
CAUTION: Pay attention to the
positioning of the pedal, which must
be such that the pedal is only activated
intentionally by the operator.
Drain the condensate
compressed air system. Connect the
supply hose to the compressed air
circuit in the medical practice using a
suitable reduction and shut-off valve (not
included in the Mectron supply).
Connect the quick coupling to the male
attachment on the rear of the appliance;
Connect the supply hose to the water
circuit in the medical practice using a
suitable reduction and shut-off valve (not
included in the Mectron supply).
Connect the quick coupling to the male
attachment on the rear of the appliance;
Insert the supply cable in its connection
situated on the back of the appliance.
Connect it to the socket in the wall;
CAUTION: Position the device in
a way that the power plug is easily
accessible at all times; this is considered
a means of isolation.
