Preparation
1.
Run the flush function (see
on page 40
);
2.
Disinfect the external irrigation circuit
as described in
Chapter 8.1.1 on page
51.
3.
Disinfect the tank irrigation circuit as
described in
Chapter 8.1.2 on page
68.
4.
Check that all of the following
accessories have been removed/
disconnected from the machine core
unit (see
Chapter 7 on page 45
• Power supply cable;
• Pedal;
• Scaler handpiece;
• Inserts;
• Air-polishing handpiece;
• Water and air hose.
CAUTION: The cleaning and sterilising
operations described in the following
sections are to be performed at first use and
at all subsequent uses.

WARNING: Always switch off the
appliance using the O/I switch and
disconnect it from the power mains before
carrying out the post-preparation cleaning
tasks.
CAUTION: Always disconnect the insert
from the handpiece before cleaning and
sterilising it.
CAUTION: Do not immerse the handpiece
in disinfecting solutions or other liquids as
these could damage it.

CAUTION: In case of excessive powder
humidity, remove/disconnect the air-
polishing handpiece from the quick coupling
on the cord, free the air-polishing handpiece
channel of any powder residue using the
supplied Ø 0.8 mm cleaning needle, then
carry out the "flush" function without the air-
polishing handpiece.
