IMPORTANT
When the button (1) is pressed, once in (C) "locked" position, both the horizontal and vertical
arms are locked simultaneously while the mount/desmount tool is slightly distanced from the
edge of the rim (Fig. 16).
This position will remain stored in the memory even if the tower is tilted back; this function is
handy if you are working with a set of identical wheels.
Grip the bead lifting tool firmly during use.
Press the cover with your hands on the side opposite the mount/demount head so as to
insert the top edge of the cover into the rim channel (Fig. 17).
Lift the upper bead above the knob portion of the Mount/Demount head (Fig.17a).
When working with alloy wheels or wheels with delicate paintwork, it is advisable to withdraw
the bead lifting tool.
Press pedal (10) to turn the table top clockwise. The upper bead will be automatically guided
up and over the edge of the rim.
During self-centering chuck rotation, keep your hands and other parts of your body well
away from the tool to avoid the risk of crushing.
Repeat this operation for the lower bead (Fig. 17b), tilt the tower back and remove tyre.
Note: If the tyre has an inner tube, after you have detached the upper bead tilt the tower back
and remove the inner tube before proceeding to demount the lower bead.
The rotation of the table top can be stopped at any time by releasing the pedal.
To rotate in the opposite direction, simply raise up the pedal.
