Use
6.1
General
Check the equipment for completeness and damage. Do not use the equipment if it is damaged; in that
case contact the Holmatro dealer.
WARNING
Make sure you are up to date on all safety regulations and that you have mastered the use
of all equipment of the system you are going to work with.
6.2
Before use
Use the pump only for tools that require an oil volume that is less than the maximum available oil
volume.
•
Position the pump on a solid level base (maximum 20°).
•
Check the hydraulic oil level. Refer to chapter 4.2.
•
Petrol engine: Check the fuel level. Refer to chapter 4.4.
•
Connect the hydraulic hoses to the tool and the pump. Refer to chapter 5.2.
•
Start the pump. Refer to chapter 5.4.
DANGER
Petrol engine:
•
The exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide that can cause unconsciousness or death:
•
Keep at a distance.
•
Never use a pump in an enclosed space.
•
Make sure there is enough ventilation.
The system is now ready for use.
6.3
During use
The pump provides only pressure during the activation of the control valve.
•
Set the pressure relief valve in the "operation" position.
6.4
After use
6.4.1
Shut down and disconnect
•
Stop the pump. Refer to chapter 5.5.
•
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the tool and the pump. Refer to chapter 5.3.
•
Electric motor: Wind the electric cable around the electric motor.
6.4.2
Inspection
•
Check the pump for leaks and damage. Do not use the pump if it leaks or is damaged and contact
the Holmatro dealer.
•
Check the level of the hydraulic oil in the tank, and add oil if necessary.
