. Remove the two screws @ and the two washers @, and then remove the lapper O.
. Raise the presser foot, remove the three screws ®, and then remove the auxiliary needle plate ©.

. Loosen the set screw ®, and then align the rotary hook tip 6 with the center of the needle O.
* The distance between the rotary hook tip O and the needle @ should be approximately 0.05 mm.
. Securely tighten the set screw ®.
. Install the needle plate ® so that the rotary hook stopper (B on the reverse side of the needle plate ® fits into the
groove (B of the inner rotary hook.
* Check that the clearance between the rotary hook stopper (B and the inner rotary hook groove @ is 0.6 - 1.0 mm.
. Place the thread trimmer connecting rod ® onto the thread trimmer lever pin ®.
. Tighten the needle plate ® with the two screws ®.
. Install the auxiliary needle plate © with the three screws @.
. Install the lapper @ with the two screws 6 and the two washers ©.
. Lower the presser foot.
