10. Cleaning
DANGER!
Risk of electric shock/short circuit!
There is a risk of electric shock/short circuit from live parts.
Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
Moisture ingress can lead to an electric shock.
Unplug the plug from the socket before cleaning the ap-
pliance.
NOTICE!
Possible material damage!
The non-stick coating on the cooking plate (1) and the ap-
pliance housing is sensitive. There is a risk of scratches.
Do not use any abrasive or harsh cleaning agents.
` Allow the appliance to cool down.
` Remove all food residue from the cooking plate (1).
` Remove the cooking plate (1) and clean the cooking plate (1), the batter spreader
(10) and the crêpe spatula (9) under running water and with a little washing-up liquid
or in the dishwasher.
` Wipe the housing with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
` Dry the cooking plate (1) carefully using a soft cloth.
` Only use the appliance again once all parts are thoroughly dried.
11. Storing/transporting
` When you are not using the appliance, pull out the mains plug, clean the appliance as
described above and store the appliance in a dry, dust-free and frost-free environment
that is not exposed to direct sunlight.
` For easy storage, wind the mains cable (5) onto the cable spool (7) underneath the
appliance and secure the mains cable (5) to a cable holder (4).
` Do not store the appliance within the reach of children.
` To avoid damage during transport, we recommend that you use the original packag-
ing.
