A damaged muffler can increase the noise
level and the risk of fire. Keep tools to
extinguish fire near. Do not use a product
without, or with a broken muffler.
The muffler keeps the noise levels to a minimum and
points the exhaust fumes away from the operator. In
areas with a hot, dry weather there is a high risk of fire.
Obey local regulations and maintenance instructions.
To do a check of the muffler

Always wear personal protective
equipment when you do a check of
the muffler to prevent skin touch and
inhalation of the dangerous particles.

Make sure that there is a sufficient air
flow in the area when you clean and/or
do maintenance on the muffler.

Do not not use pressurized air to clean
the muffler.
•
Clean the muffler with a steel brush and
brush away from your body.
•
Examine the muffler regularly to make sure that it is
attached correctly and not damaged.

Hydraulic safety

Make sure that the hydraulic hose connections are
tight and that there is no oil leakage.
•
Be careful when you tighten the hydraulic
connections. If you tighten the hydraulic connections
too much, it can cause damage to the O-rings.
•
Make sure that the hydraulic hose connections are
clean and in good condition.
•
Pressurized hydraulic oil is dangerous and can
cause serious injury. Do not look for an oil leakage
when the hydraulic system is pressurized.
•
Be careful when you fill the product with hydraulic oil.
The hydraulic oil is flammable. If you spill hydraulic
oil, clean the surface.
•
Only fill the product with hydraulic oil in a location
with good airflow.

Clean the product to remove dangerous material
before you do the maintenance.

Do the maintenance of the product on stable level
ground. Make sure that the product cannot move.

manufacturer can cause serious injury or death.

Replace damaged, worn or broken parts.
•
Do not use a pressure washer to clean the product.
•
Only use lint-free cleaning cloths.
•
Always use original accessories and spare parts.
