5. Put a slide hammer in the screw thread of the pinch
bar.
6. Remove the pinch bar with a slide hammer.
7. Dispose the worn pinch bar.
8. Install the new pinch bar in the opposite sequence.
To replace the blast wheel blades
CAUTION:
blades at the same time.
1. Remove 2 nuts (A) and the cover (B).
2. Remove the 3 blast wheel blades. Do these steps for
each blast wheel blade:
a) Remove the holder of the blast wheel blade (C).
b) Remove and discard the blast wheel blade with
the small circle seal (D).
c) Install 3 new blast wheel blades in the opposite
sequence.
CAUTION:
unbalance in the blast wheel, replace
all 3 blast wheel blades at the same
time.
3. Install the cover and 2 nuts.

To replace the blast wheel
1. Remove the bearing assembly (A).

2. Remove the side cover (B).
3. Remove the liner (C).
4. Remove the seals (D).
5. On the other side of the shot blaster head remove
the pulley (E).
6. Pull the blast wheel out (F).
7. Install the new blast wheel in the opposite sequence.
